    Q:
How to remove and install the Back Up Light on Buick Century? Posted by Customer
    A:
Open the rear compartment lid then take out the rear compartment netting (if equipped) from its wingnut plastic holders. You can reach the other plastic wingnuts by pulling back the rear compartment trim panel corner after freeing the plastic wingnut under the taillamp. Keep the lamp steady by pressing lightly on its lens as you unscrew all plastic wingnut retainers. Gently take out the taillamp assembly from the rear panel while supporting it. Removing begins by rotating each lamp socket in a counterclockwise direction to release it from the taillamp housing. Placing the wet compress removes both lamp sockets and the taillamp housing from the vehicle. Insert the lamp sockets into the taillamp assembly housing before tightening them counterclockwise. Fit the taillamp assembly into its position in the rear panel while applying slight pressure to the lens so the lamp stays in place during the installation of the plastic wingnut holders that will be hidden by the rear compartment trim panel. Press the rear panel corner into place and fasten the taillamp plastic wingnut holder. Reinstall the rear compartment convenience net on the plastic wingnuts and then close the rear compartment.

    Q:
How to remove and install the Tail Light on Buick Regal? Posted by Customer
    A:
You must first open the rear compartment lid and remove any rear compartment convenience net that uses plastic wingnut retainers for attachment. You should first remove the plastic wingnut which holds the taillamp and then access the rear compartment trim panel by pulling back its corner so you can reach the remaining plastic wingnuts. Use gentle pressure on the taillamp lens to stabilize the glass but carefully remove all remaining plastic wingnut retainers before carefully extracting the taillamp assembly from the rear body panel. Begin the taillamp housing assembly removal process by turning each lamp socket counter-clockwise to loosen and pull them free from their sockets. Finish by removing the taillamp housing assembly itself. Start the installation by putting each lamp socket into the taillamp housing assembly then secure them by turning them counterclockwise. The taillamp assembly needs to be centered on the rear body panel and held in position by applying gentle contact to the lens until installation of the plastic wingnut retainers is complete. These retainers will remain unseen behind the rear compartment trim panel. Install the corner of the rear compartment trim panel before replacing all plastic wingnut retainers for the taillamp then reinstall the rear compartment convenience net to plastic wingnut retainers before closing the rear compartment lid.

    Q:
How to replace the Tail Light on Chevrolet Cavalier? Posted by Customer
    A:
The tail lamp replacement process starts with pulling back rear compartment trim to reveal the tail lamp. Once the electrical connector disconnects from the tail lamp you can remove the bulb/socket assembly from the tail light along with individual bulb extraction if required. You need to remove the nuts from the tail lamp before extracting the tail lamp out of the quarter panel. Attach the tail lamp to the quarter panel after you position it correctly then tighten the nuts to 5 N.m (44 lb in). Connect the electrical connector to the tail lamp before adding the bulb to its socket if required and finally attaching the bulb/socket to the tail lamp. To finish the installation process return rear compartment trim in place.

    Q:
How to replace the Tail Light on GMC Savana 2500? Posted by Customer
    A:
Start the tail lamp replacement by taking off the upper quarter panel applique first. The first step involves removing both tail lamp securing nuts then disconnecting bulb sockets from the tail lamp. Turn each socket bulb counterclockwise to remove them from the sockets. Follow these steps to install the bulbs: first replace the sockets with bulbs before securing the bulb sockets to the tail lamp. Screw in the two retaining nuts to the upper quarter panel after putting them on while tightening them to 5 n.m (44 lb in). To complete the installation reinstall the upper quarter panel applique.
