    Q:
How to replace the HVAC control module on GMC Sierra 3500? Posted by Customer
    A:
Firstly, you need to remove the instrument cluster trim plate bezel, the instrument panel storage tray, and the accessory switch assembly from the instrument panel for an HVAC Control Module replacement process. After that, unscrew the screws from the hvac control assembly and then release the retaining tabs to pull out the control head from the instrument panel carrier. Remove the electrical connectors from the hvac control assembly. For installation, you should attach the electrical connectors to the control assembly of the hvac while ensuring that the key is off position for the correct calibration. Mount the hvac control assembly, install the accessory switch assembly, and then fasten the hvac control assembly with screws that will be tightened to 1.9 n.m (17 lb in). Lastly, replace the instrument panel storage tray and the instrument cluster trim plate bezel. We will begin the vehicle and let it warm for one minute, without making any changes to the HVAC Control Module to avoid incorrect hvac performance.
