Lock Actuator, Passenger Side

Begin sliding door latch repair and servicing by taking out the low panel of the sliding side door. Detach the lock rods from the sliding side door control assembly. Five bolts need removal to detach the sliding side door control assembly from its fixture on the sliding side door. Then extract the control assembly from both door components and vehicle assembly. Reinstall the sliding side door control assembly within the vehicle then properly attach it to the sliding side door. Drive in the four bolts that fasten the control assembly to the sliding side door and torque them at 10 N.m (89 lb in). Reinstall the sliding side door lower trim panel after which you should reattach the lock rods to the sliding side door control assembly.

Start the front side Door Lock replacement by removing the front door trim panel then the water deflector before moving on to other steps. You should extract the rear running channel from the door at this point. Start by detaching lock rods together with electrical connectors from the lock before taking away the lock rod guide and bolts that secure the lock to the door. Install the new lock to the door by tightening the retaining bolts at 10 n.m (89 lb in). Reinstall the lock rod guide along with electrical connectors and lock rods to the lock . Follow this sequence to put back the rear run channel then the water deflector followed by the front door trim panel.

Position the new power door lock actuator and secure it with the retainers.

Remove the bolts that secure the side rear door lower latch to the door and take out the latch.

Install the power door lock actuator.

Position the sliding side door rear lock back into the vehicle and then to the door.

Position the new power door lock actuator and secure it with the two retainers to the door lock assembly.

Drill out the two rivets and remove the latch bracket.

Position the new left side rear door upper latch onto the door and secure it with the bolts, tightening them to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).

Finally, reinstall the right side rear door trim panel.

Next, detach the lock rods from the side front door lock and disconnect the electrical connector from the lock if necessary.

Remove the left side rear door trim panel.

After that, take out the side rear door upper latch.

Begin by removing the side rear door trim panel.

First install the latch brackets and rivets.

Install the new left side rear door lower latch and ensure it is secured with the four bolts tightened to 25 Nm (18 lb ft).

Begin by placing the power door lock actuator back into position.

Remove the two latch bolts and take out the latch.

Disconnect the side rear door lower latch lock rod from the side rear door lower latch.

Detach the lock rod from the side rear door upper latch and remove the bolt that secures the latch to the door.

Start by installing the latch brackets, followed by the rivets.

Reattach the lock rod to the left side rear door upper latch.

Remove the sliding side door lower trim panel.

Disconnect the side rear door lower latch lock rod from the side rear door lower latch.

First, remove the right side rear door trim panel.

Next, detach the lock rod from the upper latch and remove the bolts securing the latch to the door.

Secure the latch by installing the bolts and tightening them to 25 Nm (18 lb ft).

First, remove the side front door trim panel.

Take out the left side rear door upper latch.

Detach the lock rod from the upper latch and remove the bolts securing the latch to the door.

Start by installing the latch brackets, followed by the rivets.

Reattach the lock rod to the latch and finally reinstall the left side rear door trim panel.

Begin by removing the front door trim panel.

Take out the rear run channel from the door.

Finally, reinstall the door lock assembly according to the relevant lock replacement procedure for the specific door type.

Take out the power door lock actuator retainers from the door lock assembly.

Connect the side rear door upper latch lock rod to the side rear door upper latch and reinstall the side rear door trim panel.

Reattach the lock rod to the latch.

Reconnect the side rear door upper latch lock rod to the latch and reinstall the side rear door trim panel.

Position the new power door lock actuator and secure it with the two retainers to the door lock assembly.

First, remove the door lock assembly by following the appropriate removal procedure for the front door, side front door, rear door, or sliding door rear.

Install the new left side rear door lower latch and secure it with the four bolts, tightening them to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).

First, remove the side rear door trim panel.

Reattach the lock rod to the side rear door upper latch.

Reinstall the left side rear door trim panel.

Start by installing the latch brackets, followed by the rivets.
