Start by draining the cooling system. Remove the outlet hose on the surge tank with the hose clamp pliers (J38185). Relax the bolt holding the bracket that supports the surge tank outlet hose to the engine. Again, unclasp the surge tank outlet hose using the hose clamp plier (J 38185) from the thermostat assembly thereafter discharge the surge tank outlet hose/pipe from the engine. Installation - the surge tank outlet hose/pipe to the engine should be located, and the hose clamp pliers (J 38185) should be used to attach the surge tank outlet hose to the thermostat assembly. Screw the bolt to the bracket for the attachment of the surge tank outlet pipe to the engine and tighten it to the torque of 9 n.m (80 lb in). Finally, connect the outlet hose to the surge tank and fill the cooling system using the hose clamp pliers (J 38185).
