How to replace the rear brake line on 2008 Chevrolet Cobalt?

First, raise and support the vehicle, then remove the tire and wheel assembly in order to change the rear brake hose. Clean off any dirt and foreign matter from the brake hose ends and brake pipe fittings. Remove the brake pipe fittings on the brake hose using a back up wrench and plug or cap the ends to avoid loss of and contamination from the fluid. Chose the clips on the hose mounting brackets and pull the clips out of the brass brackets, and then pull out the hose from the brackets. In installation install the hose retaining clips onto the hose fittings, making sure that the hose fittings also match the notch in mounting brackets. Replace the brake pipe screws with back up wrench and fasten the rear brake hose at the brake pipe fittings tighten them up to 21 N.m (15 lbft). Remove the tire and wheel assembly and do not allow the hose to touch any component of the suspension and reinstall the same. if it does, you will need to remove the hose and fix the problem. At the end, bleed the hydraulic brake system being reduced and lower the running vehicle.
