How to replace the Power Steering Hose Return Line on Buick LeSabre?

In order to replace p/s return line, first lift the vehicle with support. Take off the power steering gear heatshield and the Power Steering Hose retainers from the engine frame. Unplug the Power Steering Hose from the steering gear and pour out the power steering fluid. Next draw off the power steering line at the Power Steering Pump and cut off the power steering line retainer at the power steering gear before you start drawing off the hose from the vehicle. For installation, position and install hose to the pump, securing the power steering gear inlet hose clamp to 30 nm (22 ft. Lbs.). Then attach the power steering line to the steering gear ensuring that it is also tightened to the values of 30n m (22ft. Lbs). Install the retainers and bolts to 6 nm (53 inch lbs) followed by the install the power steering gear heat shield with retainer bolts which will be tighten to 10 nm (7 ft.lbs). Lastly, lower the vehicle and fill and bleed the power steering system.
