To replace the Intake Manifold, start by removing the air cleaner outlet resonator, the
Throttle Body, the pcv hose, the purge solenoid tube, the brake booster hose, and the oil indicator tube bolt. Now, detach the
Fuel Railing, disconnect the electrical to the knock sensor, and detach the harness connector from the intake drawer. Then, go ahead and remove the Intake Manifold nuts and bolts and take out the Intake Manifold. The Intake Manifold Gasket can be used again; replace it only if damaged. For installation, in case of it being removable, put in the Intake Manifold by first installing the Intake Manifold Gasket. Install the Intake Manifold nuts and bolts while tightening them to 10 nm (89 inch lbs). Ensure that all components are properly aligned and secured to prevent any air leaks or engine performance issues. Reconnect the knock sensor harness connector and the knock sensor electrical connector as well as the Fuel Rail and the Throttle Body. Lastly, reattach the oil level indicator tube bolt, at 10 nm (89 inch lbs.) reattach the brake booster hose, purge solenoid tube and the pcv hose; finish the throttle air cleaner outlet resonator re-installed.
