How to replace the bank 2 knock sensor on GMC Acadia?

To replace the bank 2 knock sensor, one, lift and support the vehicle. Uncouple the engine wiring harness cease that pulls the bank 2 knock sensor. Release the bolt of the knock sensor and remove it. To install, fit the knock sensor, and torque the knock sensor bolt to 23 N.m (17 lb ft). Then, install the engine wiring harness electrical connector onto the bank 2 knock sensor then lower the vehicle.

How to replace Knock Sensor 1 on GMC Sierra 1500?

To change Knock Sensor 1 one first has to lift and support the vehicle. Detach the knock sensor from the engine wiring harness electrical connector and separate the knock sensor bolt (739) from the spark knock sensor (718). For installation, place the knock sensor (718) onto the engine block and install the knock sensor bolt (739) to 25 Nm (18 lb ft). Lastly, connect the engine wiring harness electrical connector to the knock sensor.

How to Replace Knock Sensor 2 on GMC Yukon?

To replace Knock Sensor 2 start by removing the right front wheelhouse liner when there is 4WD in the vehicle. Then remove the right front wheel and tire. Remove plug connecting the engine wiring harness of the knock sensor from the wheel well opening. Remove the knock sensor bolt (739) and knock sensor (718). For installation of the knock sensor (718), place it on top of the engine block. Tighten it to the knock sensor bolt by using a torque of 25 Nm (18 lb ft). Reconnect the engine wiring harness electrical connector back to the knock sensor; then, reinstall the right front wheel and tire. Last, if you were removed, recheck the right front wheelhouse liner.

Remove plug connecting the engine wiring harness of the knock sensor from the wheel well opening. Remove the knock sensor bolt (739) and knock sensor (718). For installation of the knock sensor (718), place it on top of the engine block. Tighten it to the knock sensor bolt by using a torque of 25 Nm (18 lb ft). Reconnect the engine wiring harness electrical connector back to the knock sensor; then, reinstall the right front wheel and tire. Last, if you were removed, recheck the right front wheelhouse liner.
