How to replace the MAP Sensor on GMC Envoy?

Before changing the Manifold Absolute Pressure Sensor do disconnect the engine wiring harness electrical connector from the manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor. First unfasten the MAP sensor screw before removing the MAP sensor. Check for damage on the Manifold Absolute Pressure Sensor seal then replace it if any problems are found. Clean engine oil should be used to lubricate the MAP sensor seal before you put the MAP sensor into its position. Secure the MAP sensor screw using a torque of 9 N.m (80 lb.in). After completing the procedure you need to reconnect the engine wiring harness electrical connector to the MAP sensor.

How to replace the MAP Sensor on GMC Sierra 1500?

Start by disconnecting the engine wiring harness electrical connector from the manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor with caution to prevent sensor damage from rotation or prying. Remove the MAP Sensor bolt first. Then pull the MAP Sensor upwards while gently rocking it to extract it from the upper Intake Manifold. Check if the MAP Sensor has damaged seals then change them if found. Begin the installation process by placing a new MAP Sensor seal on the sensor when necessary and secure the MAP Sensor to the upper Intake Manifold. Tighten the MAP Sensor bolt to a torque of 10 n.m (89 lb in). Reconnect the engine wiring harness electrical connector to the MAP Sensor in conclusion.

How to replace the MAP Sensor on GMC Safari?

The first step to replace the manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor starts with turning off ignition followed by engine cover removal. Pull the MAP Sensor out by rocking it up while maintaining a direct pull motion to prevent MAP Sensor damage or Intake Manifold damage. Disconnect the MAP Sensor harness connector before starting this step. Discard the MAP Sensor grommet after its removal. Installation involves placing a new grommet on the MAP Sensor followed by sensor placement and subsequent reconnection of the harness connector before reinstalling the engine cover.
