    Q:
How to replace the lower control arm on a rear-wheel drive on Chevrolet Express 3500? Posted by Customer
    A:
To replace the lower Control Arm on a rear-wheel drive vehicle, start the procedure by raising and supporting the vehicle after which the tire and wheel will have to be removed followed by the removal of the front coil spring. Next, you have to take off the lower Ball Joint retaining nut, and pull the lower Ball Joint away from the Steering Knuckle using the Ball Joint remover (J43631) and the Ball Joint separator protector adapters (J45851). Take out the lower Control Arm, then fit the new lower Control Arm by connecting the lower Ball Joint to the Steering Knuckle. Install the lower Ball Joint retaining nut and snake, tightening the nut as per 100 nm (74 ft. Lbs.) with the restoration of the front coil spring and the tire and wheel. Finally decrease the vehicle and look after the wheel alignment.
