A: Firstly, lift and support the vehicle to change the transmission mount on an all-wheel-drive car. Next, remove the exhaust system. Sustain the transmission using an acceptable jack and a composition of wood and then disengage the transmission vent hose from the retainers situated on the mount assembly. To remove the transmission mount support from the vehicle; remove transmission mount support from body mounting bolts and the transmission mount support from transfer case mounting bolts to come with the transmission mount support assembly out. For installation, place the transmission mount support assembly back to place, making sure to tighten the transmission mount bolts in the correct sequence. Hand-tighten the transmission mount support to transfer case mounting bolts, and then tighten the left side bolt to 110 N.m (81 lb ft) and the on the right-side bolt to 110 N.m (81 lb ft). Then, position the transmission mount support to body mounting bolts and tighten them to 60 N.m (44 lb ft). Then reconnect the transmission vent hose to the rear hang of the mount assembly, take down the transmission jack and reinstall the exhaust system and bring the vehicle down.
