How to replace the left side engine mount on 2009 Cadillac SRX?

The first step in left side Engine Mount replacement requires users to raise and support their vehicle. A screw jack with supporting wood underneath the Oil Pan allows for retaining nut removal from the lower Engine Mount. Start by raising the engine using the screw jack after the mount loses its weight support. Then you can remove both retaining nuts and finally uninstall the Engine Mount itself. Install the Engine Mount onto the vehicle by first applying the upper Engine Mount retaining nut and tightening it to 80 nm (59 lb ft). Lower the engine using the screw jack until the mount receives the suspension weight before you install and tighten both retaining nuts to 80 nm (59 lb ft). Remove the second tools by removing both the screw jack along with the block of wood from under the Oil Pan while lowering the vehicle.
