To replace the Ignition Lock Cylinder first switch off sir system. The knee bolster and the steering column shroud need to be removed. Hold the key in the start position, insert an allen wrench into the hole in the Ignition Lock Cylinder case top and flip it down until the tab releases and the Ignition Lock Cylinder can be pulled out. The installation will require ensuring that the gears between the ignition/start switch and the Ignition Lock Cylinder case are properly located not to have a mismatch that might cause a no start or battery drain. Turn the Ignition Lock Cylinder case gear clockwise to the start position and it will bounce into run. Connect the key to Ignition Lock Cylinder, align it, and install it into the Ignition Lock Cylinder case. Try reinstalling the steering column shroud and the knee bolster, and also activating the sir system.
