Take apart the Wiper Arm first to reach the Wiper Motor shaft. Afterwards disconnect its nut and spacer from the shaft. You need to take out the interior trim panel and break the connection between the Wiper Motor electrical system. Proceed by taking off the two screws then extracting the Wiper Motor from its location. Insert the new Wiper Motor first then fasten it with the two screws at a torque of 19 n.m (14 lb ft). You should plug the motor electrical connection, put back the interior trim panel, and fasten the spacer and nut onto the wiper shaft while applying 8 n.m (71 lb in). Finally, reinstall the Wiper Arm.

You need to remove the Wiper Arm first before taking off the motor nut and spacer from the shaft. First take off the interior trim panel followed by unplugging the Wiper Motor electrical connector. Next you should pull out the Wiper Motor by unfastening its two screws. Start by fitting the Wiper Motor and pin two screws into it. Then tighten the screws to 19 n.m (14 lb ft). Join the Wiper Motor electrical port and put back the interior trim piece before fitting the Wiper Motor shaft nut and spacer. Tighten the nut to 8 n.m (71 lb in). Finally, reinstall the Wiper Arm.

You will need Wiper Transmission Separator (J 39232) and Wiper Transmission Installer (J 39529) to start the wiper motor replacement job. Start work by detaching both wiper arms and the air inlet grille panel. Loosen the four support bolts then withdraw the electric connector from the wiper motor housing. Pull out the wiper transmission assembly by taking its two bolts apart then removing it from the vehicle. Put the crank arm and motor wiper drive link together using the Wiper Transmission Separator (J 39232). After that detach the wiper motor using the two connecting bolts to access the wiper transmission assembly. Installing the wiper motor onto the transmission assembly requires you to first place it on the transmission unit and use two bolts to secure it. Tighten both bolts until they reach 8 N.m (71 lb in). Use the Wiper Transmission Installer J 39529 to connect the drive link to wiper motor crank arm before you install the wiper transmission assembly into the vehicle with two bolts at 9 N.m (80 lb in). Connect the wiper motor electric plug and mount the reinforcement panel with its four bolts at 9 N.m (80 lb in) torque rating. Replace the air inlet grille panel and wiper arms afterward. Test the wiper system operations to verify that everything works correctly.

Unbolt both wiper arms and the grille panel following steps to take out the reinforcement panel and wiper motor. Pull the wiper motor electrical wire connector and eliminate both wiper transmission bolts to extract the component. Use the Wiper Transmission Separator tool J 39232 to disconnect the drive link from the motor crank arm before removing the 2 wiper motor bolts and removing the motor from within the transmission assembly. Place the wiper motor onto the wiper transmission assembly by adding the 2 bolts and tightening each to 8 N.m (71 lb in). Place the wiper drive link onto the crank arm using the Wiper Transmission Installer J 39529 and reinstall the entire wiper transmission within the vehicle with two bolts tightened to 9 N.m (80 lb in). Connect the wiper motor electrical connector and mount the reinforcement panel with its 4 bolts at 9 N.m (80 lb in). Put back the air inlet grille and wiper arms afterward. Check if the wipers work correctly by running them.

Start the replacement process by getting only two items: Wiper Transmission Separator (J 39232) and Wiper Transmission Installer (J 39529). Unbolt both wiper arms before the air inlet grille panel needs to be gone. Unbolt the four pieces that hold the reinforcement panel while removing the electrical socket from the wiper motor. Dismantle the wiper transmission assy by taking out its two mounting bolts for vehicle removal. Unplug the wiper motor from the transmission with the Wiper Transmission Separator (J 39232) while separating the drive link from the crank arm. Then take out the 2 installation bolts and remove the wiper motor from the assembly. Secure the wiper motor onto the wiper transmission assembly by fitting the two bolts and turning them to 8 N.m (71 lb in). Install the wiper transmission installer tool (J 39529) to attach the drive link to the wiper motor crank arm and put back the wiper transmission assembly with two bolts that require torque setting at 9 N.m (80 lb in). Put the electrical connector back on the wiper motor and bolt the panel with four screws at 9 N.m (80 lb in). Put back the wiper arms and air inlet grille panel. Check that the wipers work correctly by activating them.

Start wiper motor replacement by removing both wiper arms and the air inlet grille panel. You must disconnect four bolts that hold the reinforcement panel in place and also remove the electrical connection from the wiper motor. Remove both bolts at the wiper transmission assembly and pull the assembly from the vehicle. Separate the drive link with Wiper Transmission Separator J 39232 tool before taking the wiper motor out of the transmission through its two mounting bolts. Put the motor on top of the wiper transmission assembly and bolt it to place with two bolts turned to 8 N.m (71 lb in). Insert the wiper drive link into the motor crank arm using the Wiper Transmission Installer J 39529 before putting back the assembly in the vehicle using its two bolts at 9 N.m (80 lb in). Connect the motor's electrical connector and put the reinforcement panel with four bolts. Tighten the bolts to 9 N.m (80 lb in) and install the air inlet grille before replacing the wiper arms. Check if the wiper system runs correctly when you switch it on.

Remove the two bolts retaining the wiper motor and take the motor out of the wiper transmission assembly.

Reconnect the electrical connector to the wiper motor, install the reinforcement panel with the four bolts, tightening them to 9 N.m (80 lb in), then reinstall the air inlet grille panel and the wiper arms.

Reinstall the wiper arm.

Remove the four bolts securing the reinforcement panel.

First, remove the wiper arm.

Reconnect the electrical connector to the wiper motor.

Place the spacer and nut back on the wiper motor drive shaft, tightening the nut to 8 N.m (71 lb in), and then reinstall the wiper arm.

Remove the wiper arms and the air inlet grille panel.

Reinstall the air inlet grille panel and wiper arms, then operate the wipers to ensure proper functionality.

Attach the drive link to the wiper motor crank arm using the Wiper Transmission Installer (J 39529).

Use the Wiper Transmission Separator (J 39232).

Reconnect the electrical connector to the wiper motor.
