The initial step to replace the front door exterior handle involves raising the window all the way up. Begin the installation by eliminating the front door trim panel followed by extracting the water deflector. Lock the hardware by freeing the lock rods from their insertion into the lock. The rear run channel must be lifted vertically to reach nuts securing the outside Door Handle to the door so these nuts along with the bracket can be taken out. Disassemble the outside Door Handle after completing the step. Begin new outside Door Handle installation by placing it onto the door then access the handle studs through the rear run channel raise. Secure the new handle with the bracket and nuts that fit in the studs. Tighten the nuts to 11 nm which corresponds to 97 lb in to maintain the proper fit of the handle. Complete the installation by attaching lock rods to the lock then putting on the water deflector followed by reinstallation of the front door trim panel.

Detach the lock rods from the lock and remove the nuts securing the right side rear door outside door handle and license pocket assembly.

Take out the rivet located at the rear edge of the rear door inside handle and slide the handle forward to detach it from the right rear door.

Install the rivet at the rear edge and reinstall the right side rear door trim panel.

Put the water deflector back in place and finally, reinstall the front door trim panel.

Remove the rivet located at the rear edge of the rear door inside handle and slide the handle forward to detach it from the right rear door.

Ensure the retaining nuts are tightened to 11 N.m (97 lb in).

Remove the sliding side door inside handle from the sliding side door control assembly and take it out of the vehicle.

Align the inside door handle bezel with the front door trim plate and press it towards the door trim panel to engage the retaining tab.

Take out the outside door handle.

Insert the tabs of the new inside door handle into the rear door inner panel slots.

Remove the right side rear door trim panel.

Take out the inside door handle from the door inner panel, followed by the lock rod and door handle rod from the inside door handle.

Position the right side rear door outside door handle and license pocket assembly onto the right rear door, ensuring the anti-theft shield is placed between the assembly and the door.

Attach it to the control assembly.

Reinstall the rear run channel, then attach the lock rods to the lock.

Ensure the tabs on the handle align with the slots in the door.

Reattach the lock rods to the lock.

The lock rods to the lock.

Attach the new sliding side door outside handle to the door, ensuring to follow the Fastener Notice.

Ensure the tabs on the handle align with the slots in the door.

Ensure the nuts are tightened to 11 N.m (97 lb in) as per the Fastener Notice.

Attach it to the control assembly.

Position the right side rear door outside door handle and license pocket assembly onto the right rear door, ensuring the anti-theft shield is placed between the assembly and the door.

Take out the inside door handle from the door inner panel, followed by the lock rod and door handle rod from the inside door handle.

Remove the sliding door lower trim panel.

Remove the nuts and the bracket that secure the outside door handle to the sliding side door.

Remove the sliding side door inside handle from the sliding side door control assembly and take it out of the vehicle.

Reinstall the water deflector and the front door trim panel.

Take out the latch handle from the door.

Press on the sliding side door inside handle to engage the retaining clip.

Lift upward on the rear run channel.

Begin by pressing the retaining tab on the inside door handle bezel to release it from the front door trim plate, then remove the bezel from the vehicle.

Carefully take out the assembly, which includes the anti-theft shield, from the right rear door.
