    Q:
How to replace the rear brake line on GMC Envoy? Posted by Customer
    A:
Start service by lifting the vehicle and checking the retaining clip's condition. Replace it if seen as damaged or flattened. Sever the Brake Line from the hose using a back up tool while installing a rubber closure to prevent fluid leaks. You should first put a cover over the Brake Line before removing the brake lines from both wheel cylinders and then unscrewing the bolt that attaches the brake hose. First fasten the mount bolt manually and then tighten it to 19 nm (14 ft. Lbs.) before placing on the new retaining clip and mounting the rear brake hose on its bracket using the specified bolt torque. Use the left Brake Line rubber plug to connect the hose. Hand-tighten the fitting first and then torque it to 19 nm (14 ft. Lbs.). Complete the installation on the right Brake Line using the same tightening procedure. Complete the brake system with fluid if needed then remove air from hoses during this process by bleeding out remaining air. Lower the vehicle to the ground when finished.
