    Q:
How to replace the front door window motor on Cadillac Escalade ESV? Posted by Customer
    A:
Users must begin by lifting the window while those dealing with inoperable motors should remove glass windows to access motor retaining screws. The next step requires you to remove door trim panel, water deflector and door speaker before you support the glass. You must disconnect the wiring harness from the Window Regulator motor after which you should remove the 3 retaining bolts while maintaining the cable gear in the housing to stop it from detaching from the spool. The installation process starts with a motor wiggle to detach it from the cable housing while recording its orientation before removing the motor from the Window Regulator assembly. Install the new Window Motor by wiggling it into the cable housing after attaching the 3 bolts which should be tightened to 5 n.m (44 lb in). Reinstall the glass window before applying the wiring harness to the Window Regulator motor. Test the window function by connecting the wire to the switch and then disconnect the wire harness after evaluation. Complete the installation process by putting back the speaker then the water deflector and lastly the door trim panel.

    Q:
How to replace the front door window motor on Chevrolet Silverado 1500? Posted by Customer
    A:
The first step to replace the front door Window Motor involves initially raising the window before uninstalling it if the motor proves unoperable. The next step includes taking out the door trim panel together with water deflector and door speaker before supporting the window. Disconnect the wiring harness from the Window Motor then remove three bolts that secure the motor until the cable gear stays within the housing. The Window Motor requires finger motion separation from its cable holder while remembering its positioning before being extracted from the door regulator assembly. Wiggle the motor into its housing then add the 3 bolts to fasten it to the Window Motor before torquing them to 5 n.m (44 lb in). Reinstall the missing window before you connect the wiring harness to the Window Motor. To check the window operation, disconnect the window support then link the wire connector to the switch before performing the inspection. Reconnect the wiring harness afterwards. Reposition the speaker before you reconnect both it and the water deflector and the door trim panel.

    Q:
How to replace the front side door window motor on GMC Sierra 1500 Classic? Posted by Customer
    A:
Firstly, raise the window to replace the front side door Window Motor. If Window Motor is not functional, take off the window to identify retaining screws. Next, take off the door trim panel, water deflector, and door speaker, support the window. Remove the wiring harness from the Window Motor and the 3 bolts attaching the Window Motor. Take care not to allow the cable gear to release from the housing as that would release the cable from the spool. Pull apart the motor from the cable housing, wiggle it carefully while watching the orientation of the Window Motor and then remove the motor from the door regulator assembly. For installation, wiggle the motor into place within the cable housing and install the 3 bolts to the Window Motor, tighten them to 5 n.m (44 lb in). If the window is missing, then reinstall the window and connect it back to the Window Motor. First remove the window support concerning wiring harness and after connecting the wire connector to the switch you may inspect the window work accordingly disconnect the wiring harness to proceed with the installation. Lastly, install the speaker, water deflector, and door trim panel.
