Lock, Rear Passenger Side

The first step to replace the rear Door Lock Actuator involves removing the rear Door Lock according to instructions. The first process involves unscrewing the securities joining the rear Door Lock to the rear Door Lock Actuator. The next step should involve removing the rear door actuator from the rear Door Lock. The installation process requires users to place the rear door actuator onto the rear Door Lock lignment followed by screwing and tightening to 2 n.m (18 lb in). The last step involves putting back the rear Door Lock.

Disconnect the electrical connectors and then remove the inside handle rods from the lock.

First, remove the front door lock.

Reconnect the electrical connectors and the lock cylinder actuator cable, and finally, close the rear compartment.

Secure the actuator with screws, tightening them to 2 Nm (18 lb in).

Position the new rear door lock actuator onto the rear door lock, ensuring to follow the Fastener Notice for proper guidance.

Open the rear compartment and use a grease pencil to mark the latch's location on the rear compartment lid.

Reinstall the front door lock.

Attach the inside handle rods to the lock and position the door lock through the access hole in the door inner panel.

Take out the screws securing the front door lock to the front door lock actuator.

Open the rear compartment and use a grease pencil to mark the latch's location on the rear compartment lid.

Remove the nuts from the rear compartment latch studs and take out the rear compartment latch from the lid.

Take out the screws securing the rear door lock actuator and detach it from the rear door lock.

Reinstall the rear door lock.

Position the new front door lock actuator onto the front door lock and ensure to follow the Fastener Notice for proper guidance.

Connect the lid ajar electric connector and align the rear compartment latch to the marks made earlier.
