Before starting the replacement of the front side door Window Motor you need to raise the window but if the motor is unresponsive you must remove the window to gain access to the screws. After that extract the power window module from its position. Remove fasteners one and two from the rail to disconnect the motor together with the drive housing from the regulator. You need to maintain the gear/spool inside the housing when sliding out the motor because holding the gear/spool by hand will stop it from unwinding. Fastener three needs to be removed following the combination of the motor and housing assembly. Push the motor to a partial extent while reaching inside to grasp the gear spool inside the housing before taking out the motor. Installation requires users to align the gear teeth with the mounting points before pushing the motor inside the gear/spool while installing fastener three initially. Position the motor housing assembly onto the rail system and fasten it by installing fastener two. The installation requires appropriate fasteners positioned exactly where defined while abstaining from coating fasteners with paint or lubricants or corrosion inhibitors. Follow the sequence of tightening steps and their defined specifications to protect the equipment from harm. The system operator should turn the motor and housing assembly while adjusting it to connect with attachment point one before fastening it with the specified torque of 5 n.m (44 lb in). Reinstall power window module and the window after completion of the procedure if it needed to be detached.

The next step includes taking out the door trim panel together with water deflector and door speaker before supporting the window. Disconnect the wiring harness from the Window Motor then remove three bolts that secure the motor until the cable gear stays within the housing. The Window Motor requires finger motion separation from its cable holder while remembering its positioning before being extracted from the door regulator assembly. Wiggle the motor into its housing then add the 3 bolts to fasten it to the Window Motor before torquing them to 5 n.m (44 lb in). Reinstall the missing window before you connect the wiring harness to the Window Motor. To check the window operation, disconnect the window support then link the wire connector to the switch before performing the inspection. Reconnect the wiring harness afterwards. Reposition the speaker before you reconnect both it and the water deflector and the door trim panel.

Reinstall the window and after that connect the wiring harness to the Window Motor. Proceed to install the wire connector to the switch before testing the window function and detach the wiring harness afterward. Finish the process by placing back the speaker as well as the water deflector and door trim panel.

Remove the door trim panel, water deflector, and door speaker, then support the window.

Disconnect the wiring harness from the window regulator motor.

Connect the wire connector to the switch to test the window operation.

First, raise the window; if the motor is inoperable, remove the window to access the retaining screws.

Disconnect the wiring harness from the window regulator motor and remove the 3 bolts (115 001 01) from the front side of the motor.

Remove the 3 bolts (115 100 01) from the front side of the motor.

Connect the wire connector to the switch.

Reinstall the window, then connect the wiring harness to the window regulator motor.

Reinstall the glass window.
