Disconnect the electrical connector from the door lock actuator.

Remove the bolts that secure the door lock actuator to the door and take out the door lock actuator along with the control rods as an assembly.

Install it to the door and connect the control rod to the outside door handle and the cylinder lock rod.

Install the water deflector, the door trim panel, and inspect the operation of all related components.

Disconnect the inside door lock rod.

Install the bolts and tighten them to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

Disconnect the inside door lock rod from the handle retainer clip and the manual door lock rod from the door retainer clips.

Remove the liftgate lock cylinder.

Disconnect the manual door lock rod.

The manual door lock to the door retainer clips.

Connect the inside door lock rod to the handle retainer clip.

Connect the manual door lock to the door retainer clips.

9 N.m (80 lb in).

Remove the bolts that retain the door lock actuator to the door and take out the door lock actuator along with the control rods as an assembly.

Connect the outside door handle control rod and the cylinder lock rod.
